Building Peace Beyond Borders
The Peacebuilding Project
Educate. Empower. Engage.
The Peacebuilding Project (PBP) At a glance
The Peacebuilding Project (PBP) is an international volunteer-led initiative dedicated to Conflict Transformation, Peacemaking and Humanitarian Action. It is aimed at preventing conflict and violence, fostering dialogue and deepening awareness and discourse on conflict resolution and peacebuilding. Through academic discourse as well as community engagement, it seeks to bring diplomacy to the people by educating and empowering communities about peace processes and strategies of peace. PBP explores constructive ways of dialogue and peacebuilding by promoting a culture of peace and understanding. Through the Project’s association with organizations working in the field, the PBP provides a channel for students and the community-at-large to explore careers in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, both in the scholarly and practitioner world.

How Does PBP Function?
PBP is specifically dedicated to educating and empowering communities on the topic of conflict transformation and peacebuilding in a two-fold manner:
- Academic instruction and research- through workshops, training sessions, speaker series, publications, etc.
